I bought the printed version of this. It is filled with poorly written English, typos, errors, and horribly formatted tables. It's almost as if the author banged this out in MS Word, but doesn't really know how to use MS Word. Many of the tables have cells breaking across pages, lost table headers on continued pages, weird/inconsistent justification of the text in the cells, etc. In some parts, the author references certain color schemes in the examples, but the book is printed in black/white. Some of the screenshot examples were taken from an Italian-language computer screen. Just sloppy all around.Product details

Normally i using java script in my we designing work so i feel that i have some weaknesses. That's why i purchase this book, this book is well written and very easy to understand and love to follow this book and also want to recommended thanks.
As a software engineering passionate student, am now polishing my JavaScript skills to becoming a better programmer as I have already finished my HTML5 and CSS3, this is a good book to give you more light on JavaScript and making a better foundation for jQuery library functions.
I gotta give it to the writer it was well written, they outlined how to program in javascript step by step but I am still struggling with it, maybe i'm not paying attention though who knows.
I gave up but don't let that discourage you, its a package and comes with videos.
Javascript is a tough one to master for novice like me. It goes hand in hand with HTMl, which I am still learning. I have made my first output and I'm learning more day by day. It's good having a handy guide like this.
Whoa never knew that you could create simple JavaScript programs just by reading this book.I am not really computer savvy myself but surprisingly I finally grasped how it works. Did try some sample processes stated here, and it worked without a sweat.Thanks to this book. It is interactive and informational that it won't overwhelm you.
This book is very long and can seem quite overwhelming to start, however it takes you through the process very smoothly at a good pace, and gives exercises along the way to enhance the learning. The screenshots help understand each process better and I like the fact there are links to all the resources you need to start coding. The history of JavaScript was an added bonus at the beginning which provides a bit of context.
I have some background with HTML and PHP but it is a bit embarrassing on how little JavaScript I know. This book brought me up to speed with lots of sample code to play around with and enough information to spark my own creativity. Perhaps my programming background made me learn quickly but I still think the book was very easy to follow and actually made learning fun with all the samples included.
